- Switch the ignition to ON (engine off) — Turn the key to position II so the dash lights up but the engine is not running.
- Bring up the service-interval screen — Using the trip/display button — the upper button on the wiper stalk, or the dash trip-reset button depending on trim — cycle the cluster display to the service-interval or spanner screen.
- Press and hold to start the reset — Hold that button for around five to ten seconds; the service-interval value or spanner starts to flash.
- Hold until it resets — Keep holding until the flashing stops and the interval jumps back up to its full value.
